Summary The Osaka City Shopping Streets Association gathers information on aid food that will be provided for runners in the Osaka Marathon in advance and transmit information on their shopping streets and cheer events on Facebook. Moreover, on race day itself, we cheer on marathon runners, as well as gathering information on aid food provided and transmitting information otherwise gained. In addition, for those who ‘like’ the event on Facebook and runners having completed the race, a special service will be provided by each store of the shopping street. (Let’s get special service!)

The Osaka Marathon Collaborative Project 45th Anniversary Thank You Campaign
Summary Our shopping street commemorates its 45th anniversary. In commemoration of this anniversary, each shop on our shopping street will provide original service. On race day itself, October 25, some stores will host public viewing at which customers can enjoy watching the marathon. We also have drawing using a lottery machine and give you the chance to win various prizes as well as original Osaka Marathon goods. Our shopping street collectively strives to warm up and support the Osaka Marathon.

Yayoi Roman Two-day Walk
Summary The Yayoi Roman Two-day Walk is a walking event which covers the sightseeing spots of the city from Ecoll Izumi, Amze Plaza onward and a major event held throughout Izumi city; now marking its 17th anniversary. Welcoming Kenji Moriwaki, a TV talent and Mr. Morishima, a former football player in J. League Cerezo Osaka as guests, you can enjoy walking with them. Fun events such as live comedy shows performed by “2700”, Izumi PR ambassador at the live venue further boost the appeal. The 12th Suita Asian Fair
The 12th Suita Asian Fair This is a major autumn event held at Sankusu Yume Hiroba (in front of JR Suita Station). This year marks the 12th such event, which will feature various performances, including dancing and music from Asian countries and a lottery event, performed on the main stage for two days. Moreover, a hawker center will also be set up, including not only a food court for delicious global cuisine but also an event space for children to enjoy; showcasing a three-wheeled tuk-tuk from Thailand and sales of sundry items. Regional volunteers of the local shopping street will join forces with cooperative firms and organizations and warm up this autumn two-day event in a friendly atmosphere.

Summary For just 100 yen, you can take part in the Garapon lottery and have a chance of winning the top prize - a home electric appliance worth 20,000 yen. Stop in 10 seconds! Get marathon goods by participating in the “Stopwatch Challenge” event!
Summary “Stop in 10 seconds! Stopwatch Challenge” – an event where participants aim to stop the stopwatch on 10 seconds exactly. Those who manage it get a marathon bag, while even losers will get a consolation marathon handkerchief. Prizes are subject to available stock - first come, first served - and all are welcome to participate. As a bonus, October 24 will feature Happy Tsutsui’s Magic Show and Mr. Yamada’s Autumn Science Show, well known from the “Tantei Knight Scoop” TV show, on at the same time. Don’t miss it!

Wakaeiwata Waiwai Event “Happy Halloween”
Summary This year will be the 5th time we organize this event for children and feature a competition called a stamp rally, which children visit each booth set at stores on the Wakaeiwata Shopping Street to collect stamps. When they complete the stamp rally, a free gift is given at each store or goal point. We will also provide a game corner and a photo booth to take Halloween pictures for children to enjoy as well as a special event for both guardians and children to enjoy together in their local community.
