- Profile -KNOCK OUT MONKEY is a four-piece band formed in Kobe and performing at clubs with live music as their field of amusement. Their music features strong and catchy sounds, incorporating abundant genres, including loud rock, reggae, hip-hop, metal, emo, etc., musical development with ever-changing expressiveness and vocals that roar out lyrics emotionally, encapsulating the value of the Japanese language.
Their tough rendering ability, earned through many different stages at clubs and music festivals and emotional live performances, impact and enthuse their audience, making them dance wildly with joy at each site.
They are currently on a live tour with their third album, “HELIX” released in July this year and the final performance of the tour will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Namba Hatch.

- Profile -Dramatic Alaska is a guitar rock band from Kobe, which was formed by high school mates in 2010. It has attracted attention, for example playing as the last performer of the day on COMIN’ KOBE 13 and making its CD debut in June 2013.
Following the separation of Naoya Toba (Gt.) in 2015 and Kenji Maruoka (Ba.) in 2016, Masataka Sawayanagi (Gt.) and Kazuki Takemura (Ba.) officially joined the band in October 2016.
Stand-out features include the unconstrained high-pitched voice of vocalist Hijikata, their attractive melodies and authentic guitar rock.
Their passionate and aggressive live performances make them well worth seeing.

- Profile -In April 2005, Sonar Pocket was formed in Nagoya by its vocalist ko-dai, featuring a heartfelt melodic line and a melancholic voice and eyeron who earned the nickname, “Mr. Stoic”; delivering straight message while focusing on the very essence of things. Seven months later, DJ matty, who turned into a track maker from a bassist, joined the band, which saw their activities as Sonar Pocket start on a full scale.
The band name “Sonar Pocket” reflects their wish to deliver songs that help you approach someone’s heart, i.e. songs that you can take with you at all times by carrying them in your “pocket”.
They continued to deliver vigorous live performances in Nagoya since starting their activities, followed in 2008 by their major debut with the single “Promise”.
In 2010, “Anatanouta” was selected as backing music for the commercial featuring the “Alinamin” drink by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, which helped boost the profile of the song among TV viewers. Their second album, “Sonar Pocketism 2 - Anatanouta -” reached number 10 in the Oricon Weekly Hit Chart. The same year, they achieved something remarkable - first place on the RecoChoku download chart for nine songs consecutively since “Sukidayo - Hyakkainokokai -”. Their third album, “Sonar Pocketism 3 - Kimitono365nich -” achieved second place on the Oricon Weekly Hit Chart.
Tickets for their first solo live performance, hosted at the Budokan in 2012, sold out immediately, making it into a premier live performance, whereupon their first live DVD, “Sonar Pocketism Special - Natsunojin in Nippon Budokan -” achieved third place when appearing on the Oricon Weekly Hit Chart. In 2012, around 2,200 people trolled “Anatanouta” for three minutes at an event called Oricon Sound Blowin’ 10th Anniversary, supported by NTT West, which was certified as a Guinness World Record.
In February 2013, their fourth album, “Sonar Pocketism 4 - Kimitoyuuhana -” achieved second place on the Oricon Weekly Hit Chart.
In February 2015, their fifth album, “Sonar Pocketism 5 - Egaonoriyuu -” achieved fifth place on the Oricon Weekly Hit Chart and their national tour, the largest to date, performing at 41 sites, on 48 stages and with total attendance of 80,000 people, achieved success. Their sixth album, “Sonar Pocketism 6 - Aiokometeokuruuta -” achieved fifth place on the Oricon Weekly Hit Chart.
Since 2017, they have established a slogan, “Sonar Pocket Chapter Two” and are currently on a national tour entitled, “Sonar Pocket Japan Tour 2017 – Reload –”, which will feature a final tour performance at Nippon Budokan for the first time in five years. They will also release their 27th single of their career, “Namidayuki” on November 29, 2017.

- Profile -SCANDAL was formed in Kyobashi, Osaka in 2006.
In 2008, the band made its major debut with its single, “DOLL”. The following year, they were awarded a great record prize for a new singer for their single, “Shojo S”.
Recently, more and more girls have been inspired to start playing musical instruments because of SCANDAL and they are massively popular among such teenage girls.
In 2015, they hit the road for a solo world tour, the largest of their career, performing 41 stages in 9 countries worldwide. In August 2016, they celebrated a decade of the band; holding an outdoor concert in Osaka where the band was formed and mobilizing an audience of 10,000. This is a girls’ band that represents Japan in name and reality.
