About Abbott World Marathon Majors
The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) is a series of six of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world: Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America, TCS London Marathon, BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, Bank of America Chicago Marathon and TCS New York City Marathon.
These industry-leading organizations are now united in their effort to advance the sport, raise awareness of marathon's elite athletes, and create a global community of the marathon runners.
Age Group World Rankings
The AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Rankings comprise over 370 qualifying races in whichathletes in nine separate age groups can compete in marathons across the world to earn a global ranking.
And the top age group runners will have a chance to gain an entry to the AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championships!
Age Group World Championships
Top-ranked athletes in each age group at the end of the 2025 season will be invited to the 2026 AbbottWMM MTT Age Group World Championships (Location and date to announced later in the year).
The number of athletes invited from each age group will be dependent on the full field size (still to be confirmed).
Any athlete achieving the Automatic Qualifying Time for their age group will receive an immediate notification that they have qualified for the 2026 AbbottWMM MTT Age Group World Championships.
In order to receive an invitation, runners must be registered at AbbottWMM.com.
