We are cooperating with the following organizations so that the hopes and contributions of the Osaka Marathon are received by each of the organizations conducting the activities corresponding to the seven charity themes.

Organization profile
Under its manager, Shinya Yamanaka, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine, the Center develops new drugs based on iPS cells and conducts research into regenerative medical techniques for patients suffering from chronic diseases.
Use of donations
As well as being used to support excellent and innovative research into medical applications, the donations kindly received from supporters are used to obtain iPS cell technology patents, employ highly skilled researchers and research assistants, and cover expenses needed to run the Center on an ongoing basis.
Cancer Support Community Japan (Specified NPO)
Organization profile
The CSC started its activities centered on the Kanto area in 2001. It delivers psychosocial support to a total of 1,750 cancer patients and their families through clinical psychotherapists, social workers, nurses, and other professionals.
Use of donations
To produce and distribute cancer prevention awareness pamphlets and badges and establish bases for psychosocial support for cancer patients and their families in the Kansai area.
Special Olympics Nippon Foundation
Organization profile
An international sports organization that provides intellectually disabled athletes with sports activities and helps them play a role in society, the Foundation is currently active in 47 prefectures or equivalent administrative units nationwide.
Use of donations
To provide sports opportunities to those with intellectual disabilities by organizing such activities as the Special Olympics Nippon National Summer Games FUKUOKA and the National Trainers Liaison Conference.
NPO Sodateage Net
Organization profile
With the mission of “connecting young people with society,” this organization organizes basic employment training programs and job training for young people. Its activities also include providing study opportunities to the children of families facing hardship.
Use of donations
Based on the idea that supporting young people on whom the future depends is a form of social investment, the funds raised have been used in youth employment support packages aimed at helping young people access job training and other support programs, rather than requiring financially disadvantaged young people to pay their own costs.

Organization profile
The mission of this organization is to reach across all forms of barriers including race, ethnicity, creed, and religion and extend a hand to those most in need. It sends professional medical and health and hygiene staff all over the world to provide humane medical support.
Use of donations
In Laos, which has a high child mortality rate for children under five years old, this organization is involved in making the health checks and clinical examinations in its child health project free of charge for children under five.
Nanbyo no kodomo to sono kazoku he yumewo (Give Kids the World) (Incorporated Foundation)*
Organization profile
This organization provides opportunities for the entire families of chronically ill children to connect with people in the community through (invited) family trips to theme parks, hair salons, and other venues with the aim of supporting chronically ill children and their families.
Use of donations
In addition to activities supporting chronically ill children and their families invited to Osaka and the Kansai area, funds are used to build a community village (Kansai based) to serve as an opportunity for interaction and friendship between families fighting chronic disease 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and people in the community. (Planned for 2015)

Organization profile
Featuring musician Ryuichi Sakamoto as its public representative, this is a forest conservation organization founded on the concept of “more trees.” It is involved in a total of 12 forest restoration projects — 11 in Japan and one overseas.
Use of donations
To support an afforestation project, started May 2009, in the Philippines province of Quirino where the forest had been severely degraded, and to create cash income and reduce regional poverty through agroforestry (combining fruit trees with forestry).
OISCA: Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement - International
Organization profile
OISCA is an international NGO established in 1961. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, it initiated the Coastal Forest Restoration Project and is currently working with government, the local community, and supporters to restore coastal forests, which are part of the infrastructure of people’s daily lives.
Use of donations
Funds are used in raising and planting 500,000 seedlings with the aim of restoring around 100 coastal forest areas lost near Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture in the tsunami, in employing and supporting the livelihoods of a total of 11,146 tsunami-victim farmers and others employed in the restoration, and in ongoing silvicultural activities scheduled up to 2033.

Organization profile
Targeting the poorest in 27 countries of Asia and Africa, WaterAid sets up safe water and sanitation facilities and is involved in creating systems for maintaining and managing those facilities.
Use of donations
Throughout the world, around 768 million people have no access to safe water and around 2.5 billion lack access to proper toilets. These donations are used to provide support for access to safe water and toilets.

Organization profile
UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) is a United Nations organization that is active in over 125 countries in providing international protection and support for refugees and displaced persons driven from their homes by war or persecution. The Japan Association for UNHCR is an official support conduit that conducts PR and fund-raising work to support these activities.
Use of donations
In refugee camps securing water is extremely important. The UNHCR aims to supply each refugee with at least 15 liters of water a day, and your contributions are used judiciously in supplying refugee camps with water.

Organization profile
The United Nations WFP is a UN food support agency with the mission of eradicating famine and deprivation. It offers food support to expectant and nursing mothers, breast-feeding mothers, malnourished children, orphans, and others living in severe poverty.
Use of donations
Your donations are used for school meals programs in Africa. Supplying meals in schools means that children grow up healthy instead of hungry, are able to study, and can defeat poverty in the future.
NPO Nobel
Organization profile
Aiming to balance the demands of working with raising children, in 2010 this organization offered Kansai’s first mutual-aid-type, community-centered sick childcare service. In 2013 it started a single mothers support group for economically deprived single parents and is supporting 30 single parents.
Use of donations
Providing single Parent with two years of childcare for their sick children achieves the following results: gives the mothers reassurance that they can continue working should their child suddenly fall ill, supports the employment and financial independence of single-parent families, breaks the cycle of a parent’s poverty being passed on to the child.
greenbird (Specified NPO)
Organization profile
Targeting mainly younger people in their teens, 20’s, and 30’s, conducts cleanup activities nationwide in an effort to discourage littering and seeks, all over the world, to instill a sense of love for one’s own town and the desire to create a town one can be proud of in front of others.
Use of donations
Funding associated with volunteers’ cleanup activities all over Japan with a particular focus on the Kansai region.
