Before You Apply for Registration

Aiming to be the world’s number one marathon in terms of charity supporters

In line with the slogan “Making a Rainbow Together,” each of the seven theme colors and the rainbow color represents a different charity program at OSAKA Marathon. All runners are requested when applying for registration, to make a donation to charity programs of their choice.

Peace, health, a clean and safe city… All of these allow us to run this race. The Osaka Marathon hopes to give shape to our appreciation, and share it across our “rainbow” to create a bridge from Osaka to the world, and from us to future generations.

Within this context, we aim to improve the culture around charity by providing many of the people connected with the Marathon, including all participating runners, spectators, and volunteer staff, with an environment for participating in, and an opportunity for thinking about, charity.
On entry, the participating runners will be invited to choose a primary and secondary theme they wish to support from among the charity themes marked by the charity colors, and the funds raised will be donated to the charity themes selected.

Registration from Abroad

Apply here if you live outside Japan.

* Foreign athletes residing in Japan who do not speak Japanese may register at the English website for entrants from abroad. In such a case, however, the entry fee for applicants from abroad shall apply.
