| Overview | This event will be held concurrent with the 2nd Osaka Marathon runner check-in. Featuring event booths and sales exhibitions for sporting goods makers and others, tourism booths for cities, towns, and villages within Osaka Prefecture, and stalls offering Osaka’s culinary delights, this event is designed to further increase interest in the marathon event and showcase the attractions of the city of Osaka. Osaka Marathon Expo 2012, which seeks to create a further wave of interest in the marathon, is intended to be enjoyed by still larger numbers of visitors, including the families and friends of runners and those not running in the race as well as the participating runners themselves and those with an interest in running. |
